Campervan site Eekhoorn car park in Vrijbroekpark
This campervan site is located in the provincial green domain of Vrijbroekpark. This 50-hectare terrain is situated five minutes away by bike from the Grote Markt. It is the ideal place for walking, doing sports, or relaxing on a terrace. Visit the internationally renowned rose garden or wander among the trees in the mysterious hotel ruins.
The terrain has five campervan pitches with a maximum duration of 72 hours. No tents, or extra tables and chairs are allowed. There is no electricity or water on site and it is forbidden to empty septic tanks here. The site is open 24/24 all year round, except in the case of force majeure. The use of the site is free of charge. It is not possible to reserve a pitch.

De Nekker campervan site
Looking for a campervan site near Mechelen? In the provincial sport and recreation centre De Nekker you can park your campervan overnight for a short period. Here you can sleep amidst nature that is less than half an hour's walk from the city centre.
The site has three pitches for campervans with a maximum stay of 24 hours. There is no electricity or running water and it is not permitted to empty septic tanks here. Dogs are also not allowed on the site. The use of the pitches is free of charge. Reservation is required and can be done via reservatie@denekker.be.

Sint-Katelijne-Waver
Campervan site at Voorland
If you'd like to discover Sint-Katelijne-Waver by campervan, then you can go straight to the campervan site at Voorland (at the entrance to the rear side of the town hall).
There are four campervan pitches and the maximum duration of stay is 72 consecutive hours. It is open all year round 24/24, except in case of force majeure. There is no charge for use, but it is not possible to reserve a pitch.
Dirty water can be discharged at the designated discharge location (sewage gully in the ground), there is a dump station for septic water, and for a fee there is access to water and electricity.

't Grom
This very peaceful place is located in the car park of the only vegetable museum in Belgium: 't Grom. On the extreme right-hand side of the car park, there are pitches for 4 campervans. Tents are not permitted. Surrounded by 300-year-old farms, open fields, fishponds and forests, this is the ultimate all-round place to sleep. Less than 50 metres away, there is a local bistro. And a large field makes it extra suitable for young families. Sporty travellers can enjoy the cycle path from Antwerp to Mechelen, which is a minute away.
Jump on your bike and within 20 minutes you can be enjoying a cup of coffee or a Belgian beer in the shade of St Rumbold's Tower in Mechelen. If you're looking for a remote site in nature, but you don't want to be too far away from culture and city life, then this is the place to pitch up! In the centre of Sint-Katelijne-Waver, there is a designated place to discharge water and chemical toilets.
